When it comes to amusement park rides, most of them have a lot of the same things. There’s your general assortment of roller coasters, ferris wheels, and bumper cars, but there’s not a lot of variety. Needless to say, this tends to result in amusement parks not lasting as long as they could, or making as much money as they could.
If you want to make money with your amusement park, it’s important you get some variety into your rides. There’s nothing wrong with having some roller coasters and ferris wheels, of course. Those are things people expect out of an amusement park, and they might be disappointed if you don’t have any of them. However, your entire amusement park shouldn’t consist of variations of those rides. You need something exciting and new. You need something that not every other amusement park has. In short, you need a pirate ship.
A pirate ship isn’t a boat, or at least it’s not a boat you put in water. Instead, it’s a giant ship that’s attached to a large, pendulum like structure. This allows it to swing back and forth at greater and greater speeds, until the riders are brought high up into the air. Some of them even circle around the fulcrum, either taking the riders upside down, or twisting on joins so that the riders stay seated upright while the ship circles around.
Either way, a pirate ship is an amazingly fun ride, offering a great bit of variety to the standard amusement park rides. When you want your park to be remembered, when you want your park to bring in the people looking for excitement and variety, then what you need is a pirate ship.
They’re also great rides because they’re able to fit with just about any theme. If your amusement park is based on a cartoon show, or you use colorful cartoon mascots to promote your park, a pirate ship easily fits into such things. After all, who doesn’t love the fun of a cartoon pirate? Everyone enjoys the sense of adventure, sailing on the high seas and exploring for treasure. You can easily fit a pirate ship ride to the theme of your park, and fit the theme of your park to include pirates. It wouldn’t take much work, and then you could have a great justification for the ride.
Of course, you don’t really need a justification for the ride, other than that the ride is great fun. When it comes right down to it, that’s all that really matters for amusement park rides. They have to be fast, they have to be adrenaline pumping, and they have to be fun. A pirate ship ride manages to hit all three of those things, swinging your customers around in a quick circle that will leave them breathless and begging for more. There’s really just nothing quite like a pirate ship when it comes to an amusement park ride that’s fun and fancy.
