Do your kids love to visit fairs and amusement parks? Do they beg you to take them on all the different rides? If your kids are still fairly young, you may have to disappoint them at times, since many rides are just not safe or suitable for the younger set.
Fortunately, virtually every amusement park also has plenty of rides that are aimed at little kids. Some of these are even safe enough to take a baby on, as long as you are holding him securely. For example, a double decker carousel is a great choice for any child.
These rides look much like any ordinary carousel or merry-go-round, except that instead of just one level of seats, there are two, one on top of the other. This way, your kids can decide where they want to sit.
If they are feeling a bit nervous, they can stay on the first level and be close to the ground. If they are feeling more daring, they can go up to the second level and ride through the sky.
This is as close as you can get to the feeling of flying for many kids. They can sit on the back of a horse and pretend that they are riding Pegasus. The ride may even have seats that are shaped like flying creatures, such as eagles or even dragons.
Once the ride is over, your kids may beg you for another turn. You may end up spending a good bit of the day just going on this one ride. However, it will be time well spent when you see how happy your kids are.
A double decker carousel can be a lot of fun for kids of all ages. Make sure the next place you go has one available.
